Make-to-Order Days 2026 bringing key industries together / Launching June 2026
With the Make-To-Order Days, or MTO Days for short, a brand-new event format will be launching in Stuttgart. Scheduled for 9 and 10 June 2026, this new trade fair for buyers interested in precision tools, make-to-order production and metal cutting will be targeting decision-makers and buyers from innovative industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive engineering and renewable energies. The main focus, of course, will be on order-related precision manufacturing – an area currently under enormous pressure to innovate and adapt.
Response to current challenges in the manufacturing industry
"Technological upheavals, geopolitical challenges and the rapid transformation of entire branches of industry are not making life easy for many manufacturing companies," explains Sebastian Schmid, Vice President of Messe Stuttgart. "With the Make-to-Order Days, we are creating a platform that will focus specifically on these changes and provide industries with an appropriate response to requirements."
MTO Days will bring together suppliers of precision manufacturing technology with industrial users from high-growth sectors such as defence or robotics. The new trade fair has positioned itself as a specialised procurement platform for strategic networking, innovation and corporate matchmaking.
MTO Days taking place alongside CastForge and Battery Show Europe
One particular advantage to MTO Days is that it will be taking place alongside CastForge and the Battery Show Europe, creating valuable synergies for exhibitors and visitors alike. Particularly those from related fields of technology for whom precision manufacturing plays a key role. This concentration of information and expertise not only provides additional value, but promotes interdisciplinary exchange on the trade fair grounds.
Accompanying programme emphasising networking and exchange
In addition to the classic product showcase, this format includes a varied programme of accompanying events. An expert forum will explore current topics and demonstrate the latest trends from the worlds of digitalisation, precision and production, while a central Networking Area, as well as separate meeting rooms, will create the ideal conditions for personal exchange and confidential discussions.
