Are you curious to know about the position of your company in comparison with the position of your industry segment? Then take part in the VDMA-McKinsey online survey!
About the Study The German engineering association (VDMA) and the consultancy McKinsey & Company want to analyse in a joint study the impact of challenges like digitalization, shorter and shorter product cycles and volatile macro-economic market environment on the business models of European machine and plant manufacturers. Here are some of the questions addressed in this study:
How can I prepare my enterprise for "Industrie 4.0"? Which partnerships are reasonable and necessary? Which are the business fields that will still yield growth in the future? Which role can and should European machine and systems engineering play in this development compared to other regions (e.g. USA, China)?
Health Check and Benchmark On the basis of this study VDMA offers a "Health Check" to all participating companies which will evaluate the starting position of their enterprise in view of the imminent chances and challenges, and disclose possible fields of action. Moreover, every participating company will have the option to obtain an established Benchmark, comparing its own position with the position of the industry as a whole or relevant segments of it.
All European machine and plant engineering companies are asked to take part in our online survey. The survey will be strictly anonymised. It will take about 30 to 40 minutes to fill out the form. Every participant can get the health check evaluation and the benchmark results by email. Naturally we will use your contact data and questionnaire answers exclusively for preparing our study, and delete them after conclusion of the project.
For participation (before February 15, 2016) please contact Mr. Robert Hild. He will provide you with individual access data for the online survey:
