We are pleased to announce that Austria has been formally recognized as an ISTMA member represented by KC – Plastics Cluster.
Established in 1999 and based in Linz, the Plastics Cluster (KC) is one of the leading cross-industry networks for the plastics sector in Europe. The cluster connects companies across the entire plastics value chain, including plastics processing, machinery and equipment, mould and tool making, raw and recycled material suppliers, as well as research and development institutions.
With a tooling chapter network of 100 companies, it promotes collaboration between industry, research organisations and decision-makers, fostering innovation, technological development and knowledge exchange within the plastics and tooling sectors. KC plays an important role in enhancing Austria's competitiveness in plastics technology and advanced manufacturing.
Through its activities, the cluster supports joint projects, technology transfer, professional training and international cooperation, helping companies to anticipate industry trends and strengthen their position in global markets.
