The next ISTMA Europe Meeting will take place in Göteborg, Sweden, Nov 30–Dec 1, 2009, in close cooperation with 2009 Manufuture Conference (www.manufuture2009.eu).
Organized by ISTMA-Europe and in close co-operation with the European ManuFuture Platform, the European Tooling Platform and the Clusterplast Project, Milan hosted the second edition of the European Tooling Forum on September 25. With the presence of over 100 participants from several European Countries, this initiative promoted by the European Association of this important industrial Sector, was a milestone in promoting its visibility and its importance in the eyes of official national and international bodies, with a special focus on those who decide domestic industrial policy as well as that within the European Commission.
On 24th September took place in the city of Tortona, Italy at Proplast – Plastics Innovation Pole facilities, the first CLUSTERPLAST Project Conference. In this event was exhibited the evolution of the project, its main goals and achieved results to a significant number of local and international tooling and plastics companies as well as other stakeholders representatives of several European countries.
The success of “2007 ISTMA Statistics Year Book” is confirmed by the release of its second edition. This book includes statistical information about international trade and manufacturing on Tools, Dies and Moulds in 2007. In this edition, the Year Book uses extensive graphical presentation as a prevailing support. More than 550 figures on 239 pages (size A5) are accessible in order to fully describe product and country industrial tooling dynamics in long time-series – one decade – presentations.
Organized by ISTMA Europe, in close cooperation with the European Platform ManuFuture, the European Tooling Platform and Clusterplast project, coinciding with the Italian Presidency of the European Association, Milan will stage the second European Tooling Forum which will take place on 25 September.
