The European Tooling Platform was presented by ISTMA World President - Joaquim Menezes - as a successful case study on the 2009 Manufuture Conference held in Gothenburg, Sweden. Representatives from 10 European countries (Sweden, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, South Africa, Spain and Switzerland) were present in Gothenburg, Sweden, between November 29th and December 1st at the latest meeting of ISTMA Europe. The chosen time and place for this meeting allowed to the participants to collaborate in the conference Manufuture 2009 works – www.manufuture2009.eu, by using its synergies, which means not only contacts or the discussion of the issues presented, but also the organization.
