“ISTMA TERMINOLOGY” Available for Toolmaking Companies
Globalization of markets requires the introduction of uniform terms for standard parts. ISTMA has developed specialized dictionaries to help overcome the language barriers.
This online and interactive technical dictionary is an invaluable tool for companies operating in the global market. It includes: · International glossary for tool, die and mould making · Technical terms in three Asian and eleven Western languages · Search, browsing and printing functionalities ISTMA is announcing a new web based terminology service covering the Western dictionary (revised and expanded) and also the extended Asian dictionary. The Western terminology has been revised by international experts and it includes 11 languages. The Asian terminology is based on a similar effort with translations available in Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The service is now available as a web based service and not as a printed book. This allows additional flexibility in updates, including new parts and new languages and continuous improvements on functionalities (like search and browsing). Registered users of the service have also access to printing functions of parts and lists of parts and they can print the information they may need.
