Representatives from 9 European countries (Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Switzerland) gathered in Warsaw - Poland on the 29th and 30th of March at a meeting of the European branch of the International Special Tooling & Machining Association.
During the meeting National Associations representatives had the chance to network and to share information about the present business conditions in the different European regions.
The new edition of the “ISTMA Statistics Year Book” was also presented and distributed to the European member Associations. This document gathers international trade information based on official statistics from ISTMA member countries. Production, exports and imports on moulds and dies are analysed in long time-series.
The meeting agenda included also visits to Wadim Plast company, founder member of STTS.
The next ISTMA Europe meeting is already scheduled for 29 and 30 of November 2010, in Bologna, Italy.
